Abstract: Hydrological archives are an important part of
hydrological work. Facing with the new situation and new
requirements of hydrological management, the construction of
hydrological archives informatization needs to be strengthened
urgently. Taking Suzhou hydrology as an example, based on the
current situation of Suzhou hydrological archives management, this
paper discusses the basic level hydrology in view of the weak
awareness of archives and the low degree of attention paid to it.
Challenges and corresponding measures faced by units in hardware,
digitalization, system, personnel and other aspects of archives
informatization construction work provide reference for the
development of basic-level hydrological archives work.
